Sentry Doors Wins Community Impact Award 2026

Doncaster, 12th May 2026: Sentry Fire Safety Group has been named winner of the Community Impact Award at the 2026 Manufacturing Awards.

The award celebrates organisations making a meaningful contribution to communities through social responsibility, sustainability, and positive industry influence. Sentry Fire Safety Group was recognised for its decision to undertake and publish a white paper containing one of the most comprehensive analyses of fire door compliance in England’s social housing sector since the introduction of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, known as “A Burning Issue: The Reality of Fire Door Safety in Social Housing.”

Produced using Freedom of Information data gathered from local authorities across England, the whitepaper highlighted significant issues surrounding fire door inspections, remediation, and compliance within social housing. The findings have since contributed to wider industry discussion around resident safety, accountability, and the need for greater transparency across the sector.
