Liam joined the team as a bench joiner and is extremely experienced in all aspects of manufacturing and joinery. He has been promoted through the business and is now Logistics and Warehouse Manager responsible for ensuring our customers strict delivery schedules are met and communicating with clients to ensure they are kept up to date. Liam is key to the overall operational aspect of the business and is always on hand to offer advice and guidance to the rest of the team. Liam enjoys spending time with his family and mountain biking.
Ian has a wealth of experience gained across a range of sectors, and specifically in the field of manufacturing, and he leads the production team as we continually implement changes to allow even greater manufacturing capacity. Ian is energetic and driven and familiar with working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and he works closely with the senior management team to drive continual improvements to achieve the planned increase in capacity whilst ensuring we deliver the highest levels of quality assurance Sentry adhere to. Ian is previously played rugby at county level and loves sport.
Jon is an Operating Partner at Cairngorm Capital and Chairman of Sentry Doors Limited. He has a deep-rooted experience in Manufacturing and Logistics and thrives in situations that demand rapid transformation. Jon takes a dynamic approach to leading and inspiring the management team in order to deliver positive change and performance improvement. Jon has a passion for gliding and world travel.
A pragmatic Managing Director with 25 years’ experience in the fire door sector, Ty directs the business with a proactive and personable approach.
Initially employed as a Bench Joiner, Ty has a practical and thorough understanding of joinery manufacturing and production. This in-depth knowledge means he can drive product developments and improvements to expand the business.

Craig is an energetic General Manager with a successful and demonstrable track record of delivering tangible results through effective management and operational performance.
A methodical and forward thinker, Craig has significant experience leading fast-paced manufacturing businesses to achieve business goals.
A persuasive team builder, Craig motivates his teams and installs confidence in his staff in order to achieve both organisational and personal goals that deliver sustainable business improvements through change management programmes.
Craig previously served in the Royal Air Force as a Commissioned Engineering Officer and spent 3 years serving with the Red Arrows
John has been in the fire door industry for over 25 years and brings a wealth of technical knowledge and experience in manufacturing and fire safety.
His commitment to building customer relations has helped strengthen brand loyalty and led to repeat business.
John’s practical experience allows him to guide clients through all phases of the procurement process from site survey right through to installation.
In his spare time, John likes to take part in triathlons, keeping fit and motivating others.
Catherine holds a degree in Architecture, and this paved the way for a career in the construction industry with specific emphasis on sales and marketing.
With an extensive knowledge of the industry and a deep understanding of joinery manufacturing, Catherine is looking forward to developing strategies that will lead to enhanced brand awareness and significant business growth for Sentry Doors.
Creative at heart, Catherine enjoys sketching, and is a keen badminton player.
An integral member of the team and working operationally at board level, Emma has over 25 years’ experience in accountancy with particular experience in hauliers, manufacturing, timber merchants and retail.
Emma brings her vast experience from working as a Management Accountant in a private practice accountancy.
Overseeing all aspects of accountancy with particular attention to margin and business overheads, Emma plays an active part in driving the business forward.
Emma is family orientated and enjoys walks.
Geoff is a senior finance professional, operating partner at Cairngorm Capital, and Secretary at Sentry Doors Limited.
A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland, Geoff has extensive experience at CFO level with mid-market companies particularly in the construction and property and forestry/timber sectors.
Geoff works closely with Emma Geddes with expertise in audit, banking and treasury, compliance and financial and operational change management.
Fiona Perrin is a board director of Sentry Doors and chairman of another Cairngorm Capital portfolio company.
She brings a wealth of experience from a thirty year career in construction-related industries, first as an Executive Director in sales and marketing and general management and subsequently in Board roles, including experience with housing associations.
Panita joined Cairngorm Capital in 2018. She serves on the Boards of Independent Builders Merchant Group and Sentry Doors.
Previously, Panita worked in corporate strategy and business development at Mitr Phol Group, the leading food ingredient and bio-energy business in the Asia Pacific region. There she focused on leading operational improvement efforts and developing strategies to implement new business ventures and growth opportunities.
Earlier in her career, Panita worked in Sydney for Barclays Investment Bank in mergers & acquisitions.
Lucy Graham serves on the Board of Sentry Doors.
Lucy provides insight and experience from her 25 years in private equity, leveraged finance and corporate law in the UK and Australia.
Lucy works alongside the board of directors and the Sentry Management Team to guide and support with growth initiatives.
Lucy enjoys running and horse riding and loves walking in the countryside with her family and dog.
