An FD90 fire door can resist the effects of fire for up to 90 minutes. Similarly, FD30 and FD60 fire doors can resist these effects for 30 and 60 minutes, respectively.
How Thick Is an FD90 Fire Door?
An FD90 fire door has a door leaf thickness of 64mm, the same thickness as the even more fire-resistant FD120s. This, along with its design and materials, allows it to resist the effects of fire for a very long time.
