Sentry Doors hosts very first CPD Open Day

The 90-minute CPD session ‘Fire Door Compliance Explained’ was hosted by Jerry Quayle, Director of Jerry Quayle Associates, and Ahmed Loonat, Senior Business Development Manager at Sentry Doors. The session sparked some interesting discussions around certification and testing, as well as new fire safety regulations that have come into force this year. It was great to hear attendees’ views on these prevalent industry topics and to get their perspectives as a contractor or end client working in the industry.

Attendees were then welcomed to tour the impressive 40,000 sq. ft manufacturing facility, which produces over 12,000 doorsets each year, led by Operations Director Craig Peckett and Production Manager Ian Hudson. Following lunch and a networking session, attendees took a tour of the Dormakaba Bus, led by Jeremy Bordacs and Graham Hulland, where they learnt about Dormakaba’s range of hardware and the features and benefits of each product in creating a compliant fire door.
