23rd January 2026, Doncaster, UK: Over the past quarter, we’ve continued to turn our ESG commitments into meaningful action – supporting local communities, investing in professional development, and strengthening our approach to compliance and fire safety.

This edition of our ESG newsletter highlights the positive social impact made by our teams across Doncaster and Birmingham, alongside new partnerships rooted in shared values and community connection, including our new sponsorship of the South Yorkshire Fire Service Football Team.

We’re also pleased to share progress on governance and compliance, from the completion of a significant new fire test to ongoing professional training within our teams – reinforcing our commitment to high standards and long-term resilience.

Sustainable Manufacturing in Practice

In 2025, Sentry Fire Safety Group manufactured a total of 27,576 fire doors through carefully controlled and responsible production processes.

Throughout our manufacturing process, our focus remains on efficient use of materials, minimising waste and maintaining high environmental standards, while delivering compliant, life-saving products that our customers can depend on.

Investing in Knowledge and Compliance

Continuous learning is key to maintaining the highest standards in fire door safety and compliance.  Many of our employees recently completed a series of advanced training courses covering fire door legislation, inspection reporting and best practices in passive fire protection.

This knowledge expansion strengthens our ability to deliver expert, reliable solutions and reinforces our commitment to excellence across the sector.

Showcasing Our Fire Door Performance

We have successfully completed another fire test at Warringtonfire, strengthening our library of duel-orientation primary test evidence, in line with BS EN 1634-1.

This test supports greater design flexibility, including larger leaf sizes and a wider range of approved components. Achieving a category B pass, this marks another important step in expanding our compliant product offering.

Spreading Joy With Mission Christmas

This festive season, our Doncaster and Birmingham teams came together to support Mission Christmas, donating gifts to local children who might otherwise have gone without.

Thanks to the generosity of our employees, many local children across South Yorkshire and the Midlands received gifts to brighten their Christmas Day, reflecting our commitment to giving back to our local communities.

Supporting Local Heroes Through Sport

We’re proud to be the official sponsors of the South Yorkshire Fire Service Football Team, supporting a group whose commitment to teamwork, resilience, and community safety closely aligns with our own values. As part of the sponsorship, the team has taken to the pitch in their new Sentry Doors–branded kit – a visible symbol of our support for those who serve our local communities every day.

This partnership reflects our ongoing focus on social responsibility and community engagement, and we’re delighted to be backing an initiative that promotes wellbeing, camaraderie, and positive connections beyond the workplace.
