An FD60 fire door and frame is manufactured to yield at least 60 minutes of fire resistance, 30 minutes more than the FD30 fire door model. The door frame, hinges, and masonry will all contribute to this fire resistance. FD60 fire doors also allow for a wider window for evacuations in buildings with large occupancy.

Our FD60 flat entrance doorsets are internal fire doors that connect private flats to communal areas within the same building. Every FD60 flat entrance fire door is equipped with: A TS008-PAS 24 Letterplate with inner flaps that have positive stop features guarding against common attack methods and ‘fishing’. A TS007-PAS Security Handle tested to EN1906 for Security and Corrosion. Equipped with a multi-point locking system that delivers optimum door performance and the highest levels of security.
Our FD60 communal fire doors are designed for communal areas like lobbies, stairwells, and corridors. As communal entrance doors are part of a building’s fire compartment, they are a vital feature of a building’s fire safety. – Every FD60 communal entrance fire door is: – Available as single and double doorsets. – Available with an array of ironmongery and locks to suit most applications, including pull handles and lever handles on rose.
Both our FD60 flat entrance doorsets and FD60 communal entrance doors are available with glazed glass panels. We use 16EG Pyrobel multi-laminated glazing with an EW60 fire resistance available in a choice of clear or sandblasted glass. This feature gives impeccable security and peace of mind.
